Alaine Corera

Alaine Corera

Alaine is a Registered Psychologist with over eight years’ experience supporting men, boys, children, adolescents, and families across a range of settings, including schools, private practice, and men’s behaviour change programs.

Alaine works with clients experiencing a range of emotional, relational, and psychological difficulties, including:

- Anxiety and depression
- Trauma and adverse life experiences
- Relationship and family difficulties
- Emotional regulation and anger
- Neurodivergence, including autism and ADHD
- Attachment difficulties and challenges with identity and self-worth
- Learning, developmental, and behavioural concerns

Alaine has a particular interest in men’s mental health, trauma, and the ways early experiences and relationships can shape how we understand ourselves and connect with others. She also supports parents, families, and schools to better understand children’s needs and develop practical, compassionate responses.

Her therapeutic approach is trauma-informed, neuro-affirming, and collaborative. Drawing on a range of therapeutic modalities, including Schema Therapy and attachment-informed interventions, Alaine helps clients make sense of their experiences, build emotional awareness, strengthen relationships, and develop practical strategies for meaningful change.

Alaine also provides autism and ADHD-related assessment and support, NDIS-related reporting, and assistance with more complex clinical and psychosocial concerns.

Alaine brings warmth, compassion, humour, and a genuine interest in understanding each person’s story. She aims to create a space where clients feel safe, understood, and supported without judgement.
