Letty is a registered clinical psychologist (APHRA) and a member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS).
Letty offers individual (all ages), couple and family therapy. Her work as a psychologist is two pronged: (1) establishing a strong therapeutic relationship with her clients as they journey together towards personal insight and growth and (2) ensuring that therapy, drawn from a number of therapeutic approaches, is customised to a client’s specific needs and is genuinely respectful of a client’s context, inner strivings and strengths. She is eclectic in her therapeutic approach, drawing from the CBT, REBT, IPT, CPT, narrative, emotion-focussed, solution-focussed, psychoanalytic and humanistic traditions. Following her clinical psychology training, she is also keen on delivering evidence-based practice anchored on sound assessment and clear patient outcomes. Her special interests are: working with clients who have experienced trauma, couples and families in crisis and children with selective mutism.
Letty was previously connected with Relationships Australia (SA),various universities (e.g., University of Melbourne, University of Adelaide, UniSA), children's clinics, private hospital (e.g, St John of God Pinelodge Clinic), research organisations and community health services.
