Monique Cohenka

I have worked as a counsellor for the past fifteen years in a range of health settings including the mental health sector, general hospitals and more recently in private practise. I hold a doctorate in counselling and psychotherapy and I am able to provide a personalised counselling service to individuals or couples.

As a counsellor I help people with relationship issues, life cycle struggles, recurring dreams and nightmares and mental health issues including anxiety and depression. I also provide counselling to people with issues with low self esteem and diminished confidence. Additionally, I counsel people that are feeling discontented with their lives and are struggling to find meaning in their everyday.

In my counselling sessions I aim to provide my clients with a safe, welcoming and thoughtful space to work through their issues and put in place strategies for the future.
